Mr Neo Eng Chong is the CEO and President of Makino Asia since 2016 where he kickstarted Makino Asia’s Smart Factory Transformation Journey. Prior to this, he was the President for Makino China.

He started his career as an engineer with the Ministry of Defence and joined the private sector with two local manufacturing companies making precision-engineered components for the data storage, semiconductor and consumer electronics industries.

Mr Neo holds a Masters’ of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering from Kyoto University, Japan.

Mr Neo is currently a Council Member of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF).
